New Destiny 2: The Witch Queen weapon shoots explosive worms
1 of the biggest Destiny 2 expansions yet, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, is just around the corner. And to give players an idea of what kind of boodle they can expect to earn once the DLC goes live on Feb. 22, Bungie has released a new weapons and gear trailer that goes over each of the new Exotic weapons and armor pieces being added to the game.
The wackiest and nigh interesting weapon of the bunch is the Parasite, which looks to be a unique grenade launcher that fires explosive worms that deal more than damage the longer they're in flight. Other Exotic weapons include a "slug launcher" that can charge total auto micro-missiles called the G Overture, an SMG called the Osteo Striga that shoots swarms of poisonous Hive energy, and unique class-specific versions of the new Glaive weapon type. The Titan class' Edge of Action Glaive will have the power to identify small protective shields (like to a Ward of Dawn) while Warlocks can use their Border of Intent Glaive to identify healing turrets. Hunters go access to the Border of Concurrence Glaive, which fires tracking lightning bolts that can chain to nearby enemies.
In terms of Exotic armor pieces, there are several interesting ones coming. The Hoarfrost-Z Titan breast volition allow Stasis Titans to replace their usual protective barrier with a wall of Stasis crystals, while the Osmiomancy Gloves volition permit Warlocks throw two Coldsnap Grenades that have improved tracking. Hunters are getting the Blight Ranger helmet, which is an Exotic that increases the damage dealt past projectiles reflected with the Whirlwind Guard Arcstrider super. Overall, it looks like The Witch Queen will have plenty of first-class loot for Guardians to chase, and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on it one time the expansion arrives.
Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is slated to release on Feb. 22, 2022 across Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and Stadia, and information technology represents the commencement of a new era of Destiny 2 filled with plenty of content and brand new systems such as weapon crafting. The standard edition of the DLC costs $twoscore, and Destiny 2: The Witch Queen preorders are live now.
